Warm Intro: Jaime Derringer
In venture, a warm intro carries trust across a network. This series does the same—introducing the people shaping ADIN: investors, scouts, founders, and friends. Each profile is an invitation to meet someone worth knowing.
Jaime Derringer is the founder of Trame Paris, a generative design studio creating design objects and collections through code. Alongside her studio work, she explores personal art projects centered on women, computers, weaving, and creative expansion—bringing a thoughtful, interdisciplinary lens to digital creation. Grounded in collaboration and curiosity, she envisions a future where AI supports climate solutions, community, and stronger investment in women’s healthcare, all while championing balance over burnout.
What are you working on currently?
I’m currently building Trame Paris, a generative design studio that creates design objects and collections with code. We were acquired by Art Blocks last year and are continuing to build amazing things that bring design and technology together.
Personally, I’m exploring personal art projects around the topics of women, computers, weaving, and creative expansion. I feel a lot of positive energy right now around all the things I’m working on.
Who is your dream collaborator (living or dead)?
I don’t know! I’m down to collaborate with anyone. I love collaboration. Dm me, even if you’re dead! 😄
Any advice you would give to someone just starting out in your industry?
Be a sponge. Ask questions, stay curious, use criticism to get better, and say yes to as many things as possible that 1) teach you something or 2) will get you to the things that make money. Get a mentor as soon as possible. Listen to the experienced people around you, but go with you.
What do you want the future to look like?
I want a better future for us on Earth. We literally live in a natural paradise! How can we use AI and other new technologies to help with climate change, food shortages, and other issues we are facing here. What can make our lives more positive and fulfilling, happier, and more connected with others. We need community now more than ever. And I want more research and money put into women’s healthcare. I’d love to see what a matriarchal society could look like.
What’s the last text you sent and who did you send it to?
I reached out to an old friend to ask some advice about personal growth.
What are 3 products you can’t live without?
A sketchbook of any kind (I prefer Stillman & Birn), an emotional support water bottle (love Owala), and—I hate to say it—my phone so I can talk to friends, play music, and read/listen to books.
What are your red flags / green flags when looking at a startup/founder?
✅ passionate
✅ eager to learn
✅ willingness to roll up sleeves and do what it takes
Are you superstitious?
Sometimes… 😏
What’s on your playlist right now?
Lots of shoegaze, new and old! Also, I’m really into Mannequin Pussy and Voyeur. Also James K.
Who is doing something (anything) great that you’d like to shoutout?
Juliana Di Simone is building a patient care experience for women. I want to see more of this. Women building tools and investing in science and medicine to explore women’s health issues.
Yancey Strickler / Metalabel / DFOS / A Corps - this is an exciting endeavor and I am keeping an eye on it.
Jasmine Bina who is building Exposure Therapy, a strategy group that is the best thing I have ever joined

About ADIN
ADIN is a highly AI focused pursuit (bringing algorithmic venture with the full force of AI agents). ADIN is also just as much about the people. We’re building a network where early-stage funding happens faster, fairer, and with more incentives for the people on the bleeding edge. If you want to be part of that, apply here to be a scout or investor and follow ADIN as we keep opening doors.
